I is for Imagination

I is for imagination. Crocheting requires using my imagination.  .  Imagination is as essential to crocheting as the crochet hook and yarn  Imagination is important to even believe that  a project can be completed.  By using my imagination I can see the afghan for the Camp Deerpark Auction being completed.  I  have until July 28th to complete the project. The auction is on July 30th.

I can use my imagination to visualize the afghan actually being  auctioned off. Many years ago, I made an afghan for the Camp Deepark Auction. I was present at the auction when it was auctioned off.   I don’t remember the price that afghan  went for. But, I remember the pride I felt to see people bidding on something I made.

I won’t be able to attend the auction this year . But many of my friends are going.  I just hope someone will purchase the afghan.  Camp Deepark has been an important part of my life. I hope my limited contribution will help further the ministry of the camp.

My imagination is also important for helping me get through this day.   I trying to imagine a day where my mom has less pain.  I’m trying to imagine that I will be able to manage to care for my mom with 3 hours of home care help when she needs at least 12 hours of home care help daily. I’m trying to imagine that the infection in my leg will be better.  I ‘m trying  to imagine that I will make the time to crochet the afghan today..

I am basing some of my blog posts on letters of the alphabet. For more information and to participate go to :http://accidental-knitter.blogspot.com
