I collect salt & pepper shakers. I am not sure exactly how many I have. But I probably have over 100 sets.I can’t remember why I started my collection. I think I started collecting shakers around the mid 1990’s.
The set in the picture above is of house divided in half.
This set was given to me about 13 years ago by one of my coworkers.
Although, I purchased quite a few of the shakers most of them were gifts. Many of the shakers are small connections to my past. Just like old photos, playbills or other memorabilia. I don’t know how much money my salt and pepper collection is worth. But each set has valuable memories attached.
